Charing Cross Hospital

EDM number 372 in 2005-06, proposed by Greg Hands on 20/06/2005.

That this House expresses concern at reports that Charing Cross Hospital faces closure or severe downsizing; notes the hospital's three-star clinical record; recognises that the hospital is a global leader in cancer care, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery and many other fields; further notes that the hospital is the major trauma centre for West London; believes that any transfer of services to Hammersmith Hospital would be detrimental to patient terms of accessibility; and calls on the Government to take action to ensure the continued provision of all current services on the current Charing Cross Hospital site.

This motion has been signed by a total of 14 MPs.
