Sponsorship Of Big Brother

EDM number 1095 in 2006-07, proposed by Keith Vaz on 12/03/2007.

That this House congratulates The Carphone Warehouse on withdrawing sponsorship fully from the Channel Four television programme, Big Brother; and hopes that Channel Four and other major broadcasters will learn from the public reaction to the racist incidents on Celebrity Big Brother that the broadcasting of racism for the purposes of entertainment is unacceptable.
