Leadership Of The UK Delegation To The Parliamentary Assembly Of The Council Of Europe
EDM number 1960 in 2006-07, proposed by David Wilshire on 19/07/2007.
That this House notes that the Leader of the House had to apologise for inadvertently misleading the House on 19th July by agreeing that all members of the UK Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe would be entitled to vote in an election of its new Leader; regrets that only Labour members of the Delegation will be allowed to vote; and calls on the Prime Minister to consult those disenfranchised members of the Delegation before nominating the new Leader.
This motion has been signed by a total of 11 MPs.
