Postal Collection In South Manchester

EDM number 324 in 2008-09, proposed by John Leech on 16/12/2008.
Categorised under the topic of Postal services.

That this House notes with concern the chaos which has ensued at the Manchester South Delivery Office in Fallowfield since the decision to reduce weekday opening hours in January 2008; recognises the severe inconvenience and disruption caused to local residents through having to wait up to an hour to pick up their undelivered post; and calls on Royal Mail to ensure that the opening hours for the office are extended for the benefit of local residents and to meet customer needs.

This motion has been signed by a total of 11 MPs.
