That this House welcomes the launch of the Personal Information Promise by the Information Commissioner; congratulates those organisations including Action for Children, Acxiom, Anglesey County Council, Astra Zeneca, Belfast City Council, British Gas, British Telecom, Callcredit UK, Dudley Primary Care Trust, Equifax, Experian, Field Fisher Waterhouse, Greater Manchester Police, NHS Information Centre, Northern Ireland Association of Citizens Advice, Royal Mail, T-Mobile, Unison and Vodafone who are the first to sign up to the Promise; and calls on all organisations to place information security at the heart of their activities by signing up to the Promise at their earliest convenience.
