UK Companies And Trade With North Africa And The Middle East

EDM number 2107 in 2010-12, proposed by Barry Sheerman on 19/07/2011.
Categorised under the topic of International trade.

That this House is deeply concerned that many British companies which export goods and services to Libya and Middle Eastern countries have found themselves in serious financial difficulty following the recent political turbulence in the region; deplores the reluctance of the Government to intervene by offering financial support and assistance to those British companies damaged by the cessation of normal trading; and urges the Government to reconsider its response to this situation.

This motion has been signed by a total of 4 MPs.
