That this House recognises that 2010 is the Leeds Year of Volunteering; notes that the initiative is intended to recognise the already impressive levels of volunteering within the city of Leeds and to promote more charitable volunteering within the city; celebrates all the benefits that volunteering can bring to people and communities in need; and congratulates the people of Leeds on their generosity of spirit and the example they set to neighbouring cities.
