That this House notes that there has recently been an upsurge in the theft of Yorkshire stone in the Bradford area and beyond, including at heritage sites such as Bolling Hall, Haworth cemetery and the Bronte cemetery at Thornton, producing thousands of pounds worth of damage and irreparable damage to our heritage; and calls on the Government to take action to stop these thefts similar to the action taken to stop metal theft from public sites such as church roofs.
