Attack On Joseph Colony, Lahore, Pakistan

EDM number 937 in 2016-17, proposed by Jim Shannon on 08/02/2017.
Categorised under the topics of Administration of justice, Asia and Religion and faith communities.

That this House expresses concern that an anti-terrorist court in Pakistan has recently acquitted all 115 suspects who had been arrested for allegedly burning down and looting a Christian neighbourhood, Joseph Colony in 2013, due to an apparent lack of evidence; notes that several photographs and films exist of the arson attack; and observes with disquiet that the Pakistani Government prosecutor appears to have failed to use this evidence when preparing the prosecution case.

This motion has been signed by a total of 14 MPs.
