Non Levy Apprenticeship Funding For Colleges

EDM number 1032 in 2017-19, proposed by Daniel Kawczynski on 07/03/2018.
Categorised under the topics of Further education and Training.

That this House notes that Shrewsbury, Stafford, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Exeter, Henley-on-Thames and Plumpton Colleges have experience in the provision of excellent and high quality apprenticeship training, which is valued and supported by employers; is disappointed that those colleges are not in receipt of non levy apprenticeship funding; and calls on the Government to provide those colleges with that funding or transitional assistance to ensure that the provision of apprenticeships can be maintained until the new funding arrangements are introduced in April 2018.
