Hospital Car Parking Charges - Patients Receiving Treatment For Kidney Conditions

EDM number 1125 in 2017-19, proposed by Robert Halfon on 27/03/2018.

That this House notes that patients being treated for critical conditions require frequent visits to the hospital; further notes that research by Kidney Care UK has shown that kidney patients on dialysis require treatment three times a week in the hospital; regrets that such patients face exortibant car parking charges as a result; and urges the Government to scrap car parking charges at NHS hospitals in England for patients receiving treatment for kidney conditions.
