That this House thanks Greater Manchester Police and all the conference, security, hotel and restaurant staff as well as all those who extended such a warm welcome to representatives attending the Conservative Party conference in Manchester, 4-8 October 2009; notes that their courtesy and professionalism kept the conference safe and successful; and further notes that this helped to provide an excellent showcase for Manchester as a vibrant centre of commerce, culture and entertainment and as a world class conference venue.
