BBC Radio Farming Output

EDM number 119 in 1997-98, proposed by Charles Kennedy on 16/06/1997.

That this House is deeply concerned by reports that the BBC is considering changes to its farming programmes; pays particular tribute to the long-standing credibility of Radio 4's Farming Today; recognises the invaluable support and informative services which farming programmes generally provide for our rural communities and their representatives; and believes that they should be retained in their present slots.

This motion has been signed by a total of 54 MPs, 2 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
