Lockerbie Bombing

EDM number 1587 in 1997-98, proposed by Teddy Taylor on 22/07/1998.

That this House considers that the Lockerbie bombing was such an appalling act in international terrorism that it is vital that the issue should be fully investigated in a court of law and that those responsible should be brought to justice; and urges Her Majesty's Government and the US Government to display flexibility and responsibility in negotiations with Libya to ensure that a comprehensive enquiry and an effective trial of suspects takes place.

This motion has been signed by a total of 24 MPs.
