Green Lanes

EDM number 1636 in 1997-98, proposed by David Rendel on 30/07/1998.

That this House notes the work of the Green Lanes Environmental Action Movement, and the safety and environmental implications of the use of green lanes by motorised vehicles for recreational purposes; further notes that there are designated and appropriate areas for this activity; and calls on the Government to re-examine the law in relation to the use of green lanes as part of its work on the Access to the Countryside.
