Repairs To Water Pipes On Domestic Property

EDM number 47 in 1997-98, proposed by Ivan Henderson on 22/05/1997.

That this House welcomes the Deputy Prime Minister's encouragement to water companies to provide a free repair service to householders whose supply pipes are leaking precious water supplies; and further encourages Anglian Water PLC to emulate the good example in this matter provided by other companies such as Thames Water PLC.
