Pub Watch Scheme

EDM number 595 in 1997-98, proposed by John McWilliam on 16/12/1997.

That this House notes how successful the local Pub Watch scheme has been in curbing hooliganism in licensed premises where it operates; congratulates the local authorities and police who have been associated with it; and supports the efforts of Raoul de Faux, landlord of the Red Lion in Whitehall, to turn this excellent scheme into a national one.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
