Hms Invincible

EDM number 887 in 1997-98, proposed by Mike Hancock on 04/03/1998.

That this House notes the valuable contribution made by the service personnel of HMS 'Invincible' during the Gulf crises; notes that the Captain and ship's company have served far beyond their normal tour of duty and missed their planned Christmas in the United Kingdom at short notice; and urges the Secretary of State for Defence to offer full recognition for the enduring work of the men and women of HMS 'Invincible' when they finally return to Portsmouth.

This motion has been signed by a total of 19 MPs.
