That this House congratulates Singapore Airlines on the introduction of a daily passenger service from Manchester and a dedicated freighter service from Prestwick which demonstrates both the continuing commitment of Singapore Airlines to serving the regions of Britain and the success of these airports in attracting high-quality carriers to meet the growing needs of industry and the travelling public for direct, long-haul air services.
