Non-Proliferation Treaty

EDM number 816 in 1999-00, proposed by Menzies Campbell on 08/06/2000.

That this House congratulates the five permanent members of the UN Security Council on their unequivocal declaration that they will eliminate all nuclear weapons; urges Israel, India and Pakistan to declare those nuclear devices currently in their possession; and encourages these countries to sign the 1970 Non-Proliferation Treaty.
