Partnership Against Wildlife Crime

EDM number 266 in 2000-01, proposed by Bob Russell on 30/01/2001.

That this House welcomes the introduction on 30th January of the wildlife protection provisions contained in the Countryside and Rights of Way Act; regards them as a major step forward for wildlife protection which provide significant new powers for police officers in their fight against increasingly organised wildlife crime; and congratulates all those involved, both nationally and locally, in the Partnership Against Wildlife Crime (PAW) who have worked together so successfully to achieve this result.

This motion has been signed by a total of 50 MPs.
