Royal Welsh College Of Music And Drama

EDM number 1445 in 2001-02, proposed by Huw Edwards on 13/06/2002.

That this House congratulates the Welsh College of Music and Drama on being granted a royal title by Her Majesty The Queen on her visit to Wales as part of the Golden Jubilee celebration; believes that this is a wonderful endorsement of the dedication to music and drama by staff and students over the past 52 years and is a fitting tribute to the contribution the college has made to the cultural life of Wales; and wishes the Royal Welsh College every success in its aim to become a conservatoire of international recognition.
