Golden Jubilee Arts Celebration

That this House urges the Queen's Golden Jubilee Organising Committee to dedicate one day of the jubilee celebration to the arts in acknowledgment that Britain's arts reflect the best of our country's traditions, values and multi-cultural way of life and have earned the admiration of the world; and considers that a national arts day as part of the jubilee by celebrating the achievements of the arts in all their forms over the 50 years she has been on the throne.
