Humanitarian Situation In Zimbabwe

EDM number 951 in 2001-02, proposed by Norman Lamb on 06/03/2002.

That this House expresses concern over the humanitarian situation in Zimbabwe; calls on the Government to take the lead in the international community by making appropriate contingency plans for addressing the humanitarian crisis, whatever the outcome of the forthcoming election; and calls for international support for neighbouring countries in the region in the event of a refugee crisis.
