That this House welcomes the release of the deaf charity worker Ian Stillman from prison in India on 7th December; congratulates the Foreign Secretary for his personal intervention on Ian's behalf; pays tribute to Ian's family, the Carey Baptist Church in Reading and other churches, and commends the thousands of people around the world who have campaigned for Ian's freedom; regrets that Ian has not received a pardon; and looks forward to Ian Stillman being given the opportunity to resume his unrivalled work for people in india with disabilities.
