Responsible Pension Investments

That this House welcomes recommendation 3c in the DTI-sponsored report by the Innovation and Growth Team, 'Enabling Business in Resources Management', which states that the Government should make it clear that the awareness of environmental risks and the benefits of environmental good practice is part of the duty of pension fund trustees; and urges the Government to encourage pension funds to report annually on the implementation of their investment policy regarding social, environmental and ethical issues.
