Tidal Electricity(no2)

EDM number 539 in 2002-03, proposed by Paul Flynn on 16/01/2003.

That this House calls for investment in tidal power generation; asserts that investment in harnessing the huge, non-polluting and inexhaustible power of the tides is the only way Britain can achieve its renewable energy targets by 2010; and emphasis that many forms of tidal power generation will uniquely help the regeneration of many Welsh, Scots and Northern English areas.
