Register Of English Football Facilities

That this House welcomes the publication of the Register of English Football Facilities; congratulates the Football Foundation on compiling the largest facilities database in British sporting history; notes that it will be a vital resource for both sports planners and users; further notes with concern that REFF identifies that 41 per cent. of pitches are in need of drainage and 38 per cent. of pitches are without changing rooms; and urges the Government to continue to work with the Football Foundation, the Football Association and the FA premier League to deliver a lasting improvement in grass roots facilities.
