21st Century City Of Courtesy

EDM number 1870 in 2003-04, proposed by Annabelle Ewing on 03/11/2004.

That this House congratulates the people of Perth on being the first Scottish community to be awarded the title 21st Century City of Courtesy by the Campaign for Courtesy; notes the importance of tourism and service industries to the Perth economy; and hopes that many more towns and cities will follow the courteous lead that Perth has shown.
