Conduct Of Privy Counsellors
EDM number 719 in 2003-04, proposed by Greg Pope on 27/02/2004.
That this House notes that the Privy Council is one of the oldest parts of government; believes that membership of the Privy Council is a great privilege and honour; further believes that with that membership goes a great responsibility to maintain the confidence of the office; and deprecates the actions of those who betray the confidences which were placed in them in order to further their personal views.
