Public Service Pensions

EDM number 925 in 2004-05, proposed by Peter Bottomley on 15/03/2005.

That this House recognises the need to debate and to decide the choices for continuation and change in public sector pensions; calls on the Government to consult openly with civil servants, local authority staff, and health and education staff; and believes that honourable Members should adjust parliamentary pension arrangements before changes are agreed or imposed on others in the public service.

This motion has been signed by a total of 13 MPs.
