Imprisonment Of Iranian Labour Activists

That this House expresses its deep concern at the imprisonment by the Iranian government of seven Iranian labour activists for organising a May Day rally in the city of Saghez in 2004 and for organising a trade union organisation independent of the Iranian state; and calls upon the UK Government to press the Iranian government for the release of these activists and the dropping of these charges.
