Pathway Project In Leicester

EDM number 2137 in 2005-06, proposed by Keith Vaz on 10/05/2006.

That this House deeply regrets the decision to cut £161 million of the funding for the Pathway Project; is profoundly concerned for the future of the hospitals involved, the Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General and the Glenfield Hospital; seeks assurances that patient care and a high level service to the people of Leicestershire, Rutland and beyond will remain utmost priorities of the Pathway agenda; and calls on the Health Authority to consult widely with the local community before submitting the plans to the Secretary of State for Health.

This motion has been signed by a total of 10 MPs.
