Super League Grand Final 2006

That this House congratulates the Rugby Football League for hosting the 2006 Grand Final which attracted a record attendance of 72,500; further congratulates St Helens on securing the Super League title with a 26-4 victory over Hull FC; pays tribute to all the teams involved in the top six play-offs for the superb spectacle; expresses its support for the Great Britain squad in the forthcoming Tri-Nations tournament in Australia; and looks forward to an even more exciting, competitive and successful Super League season in 2007.
