Bovine Tuberculosis

EDM number 36 in 2005-06, proposed by Bill Wiggin on 17/05/2005.

That this House notes with concern that bovine tuberculosis is threatening a growing number of farmers every year in Herefordshire and that further delay in action against bovine tuberculosis is unacceptable; further notes the failure of the Government to use existing powers within the Protection of Badgers Act 1992; and calls on the Government to take practical measures immediately to eliminate tuberculosis from both cattle and wildlife.

This motion has been signed by a total of 55 MPs.
