Podiatry And Chiropody Services

EDM number 567 in 2005-06, proposed by Bob Spink on 12/07/2005.

That this House commends the important work done by chiropodists and podiatrists and particularly the care that they give to elderly and disabled people, which can help prevent serious health problems and promote mobility; calls on the Government to withdraw the Department of Health document on International Recruitment of Chiropodists and Podiatists, which seriously limits recruitment to within Europe, which will damage the service; and calls on the Government to instigate an inquiry into the Chiropody and Podiatry Service.

This motion has been signed by a total of 21 MPs.
