London Olympic

That this House re-iterates its congratulations to all concerned with the successful bid to bring the Olympic Games of 2012 to London and the UK; wishes them well in the work before them; hopes that efforts to ensure that the benefits are felt right across the country will continue and that an enduring legacy for the whole nation will be secured; and urges the Department of Transport and Transport for London to undertake consultations to name either the terminal of the High Speed Channel Tunnel Rail Link at St Pancras, or more appropriately, the station at Stratford, London Olympic when it opens in 2007.
