Citizenship Foundation

That this House recognises the prominent role played by the Citzenship Foundation in encouraging young people of school age to become involved in politics and take an early interest in parliamentary democracy; welcomes the launch of the 15th annual Youth Parliament competition; congratulates past participants including Grant Hollis and all members of the Sunderland Youth Parliament; and hopes that all local authorities will encourage young people in their areas to become involved.
