Harrogate Hm Revenue And Customs Office

EDM number 1100 in 2006-07, proposed by Phil Willis on 12/03/2007.

That this House notes that the 75 staff at the Harrogate HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) office do a job which is very highly regarded by the public, that the Harrogate HMRC office is currently achieving excellent business results and that it is one of the top performing HMRC offices in the country; further notes that the office is under review and expresses concern that the staff may be relocated to the Leeds or the Bradford HMRC office; believes that such a move would be detrimental to both staff and customers in North Yorkshire; and expresses the view that the Harrogate HMRC office should remain open providing a much valued service to the public of North Yorkshire.

This motion has been signed by a total of 14 MPs.
