National Centre For The Replacement, Refinement And Reduction Of Animals In Research

That this House congratulates the National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research (NC3Rs) on its event in the House on Wednesday 28th February, where scientists demonstrated to parliamentarians their commitment to replace, refine and reduce the use of animals in research; congratulates the work conducted by the NC3Rs to promote better science and improve animal welfare in the biosciences sector by applying the principles of the 3Rs; and urges the Government to ensure that the NC3Rs receives sufficient funding to support its commendable work.
