Cricket Tour To Zimbabwe

EDM number 1454 in 2006-07, proposed by Kate Hoey on 14/05/2007.

That this House welcomes the Australian government's clear instruction to the Australia cricket team not to tour Zimbabwe; and calls upon the UK Government to adopt a similarly unequivocal stance towards forthcoming England cricket fixtures against Zimbabwe until such time as the people of Zimbabwe are accorded their fundamental human rights and democratic freedoms.

This motion has been signed by a total of 64 MPs.
