Transport Of Water

EDM number 1536 in 2006-07, proposed by Graham Stringer on 22/05/2007.

That this House believes that the most efficient and least environmentally damaging way to transport water is by pipe and that the quarter of a million bottles of water purchased each year by the House should be reduced by at least 50 per cent. by the House authorities in order to reduce the House's carbon footprint; and further calls on national newspapers not to give free bottles of water away as a promotional device.

This motion has been signed by a total of 27 MPs.
