REFORMULATION OF SAINSBURY'S OWN BRAND OF SOFT DRINKS

EDM number 1805 in 2006-07, proposed by Ashok Kumar on 02/07/2007.

That this House notes with regret that the recently announced reformulation of Sainsbury's own brand regular soft drinks has increased their calorie content; and calls upon the Government to engage further with the soft drinks industry to reduce the calorie content of their products, which contribute disproportionately to rising levels of overweight and obesity.

This motion has been signed by a total of 29 MPs.
