Severn Valley Railway

EDM number 1857 in 2006-07, proposed by Philip Dunne on 05/07/2007.

That this House recognises the substantial damage done to the Severn Valley Railway by the recent floods; calls on the Government to ensure that all relevant public agencies provide their full support; and urges the Government to provide emergency financial assistance to Severn Valley Railway to allow it to reopen as soon as possible and resume its vital role in encouraging tourism around its route between Kidderminster in Worcestershire and Bridgnorth in Shropshire.
