Washington F Pit Museum

EDM number 1945 in 2006-07, proposed by Fraser Kemp on 18/07/2007.

That this House congratulates Sunderland City Council and Tyne and Wear Museum Service for re-opening the Washington F Pit Museum, which is a vital part of the North East's mining heritage, giving visitors the opportunity to see the last remaining pit winding engine in the North East, recognising its English Heritage status as an ancient monument, and a tribute to the workers and their families connected with the F Pit since its opening in 1777.

This motion has been signed by a total of 27 MPs.
