Premiership Football Proposal For 39th Match

EDM number 1063 in 2007-08, proposed by Roger Godsiff on 27/02/2008.

That this House applauds the stand taken by Sepp Blatter, the FIFA President, and Michel Platini, the President of UEFA, in opposing the Premiership proposals for a globetrotting 39th match and for upholding the integrity of the English Premiership over the rampant greed of the owners of many of the Premiership clubs.

This motion has been signed by a total of 26 MPs.
