That this House notes the publication of the independent review into Integrity in Racing by Dame Elizabeth Neville; welcomes its conclusion that the approach adopted on integrity by the British Horseracing Authority is a model for the effective investigation of corruption in sport; endorses the report's view that the Gambling Commission has a key role to play in supporting racing and tackling corruption; calls on it to build on the Neville report's recommendation that racing and the Commission adopt a collaborative approach to investigating integrity concerns; believes that addressing integrity is vital for the future of racing; commends the British Horseracing Authority for its confirmation that it will continue to give the highest priority to this issue; and welcomes the support the British Horseracing Authority is giving to other sports governing bodies who are looking to replicate the measures racing also operates to keep cheats out of sport.
