That this House recognises the outstanding performances of the Northern Ireland football team in the qualifying rounds of the European Football Championship; congratulates the management, players and supporters on the achievements, which included defeating Spain, Sweden and Denmark in the tournament; further congratulates David Healy, who is now the qualifying tournament's highest ever goal scorer with 13 goals; and notes the final game of the qualifiers on Wednesday 21st November 2007 against Spain with up to 4,000 supporters at the Estadio do Gran Canaria and the possibility of reaching the finals in 2008.
