That this House welcomes the establishment of Credit Action Cymru, part of the national charity Credit Action, which provides information and advice to people on how to manage their money more effectively; recognises that the already important role played by Credit Action has been heightened as a result of the recession; acknowledges the importance of having a Welsh arm of the charity to respond to issues of particular relevance to Wales, and to work with the Welsh Assembly Government on devolved matters; notes that Credit Action Cymru has set up a branch in Penparcau, which will be of great benefit to the local community; and urges the Government to work with charities to improve financial education in the UK.
