Code Of Practice For Assistive Technology

EDM number 873 in 2009-10, proposed by Michael Connarty on 22/02/2010.
Categorised under the topic of Health services.

That this House welcomes the Office of Fair Trading's full approval of a consumer code of practice for the assistive technology and healthcare industry to be regulated by the British Healthcare Trades Association; and notes that each year 15 million people depend on assisted technology to enable a better quality of life and that the code will provide them with reassurance that products and services are of the highest value and will give consumers a robust method of complaint.

This motion has been signed by a total of 34 MPs.
